Not to start an argument either ;-), but this is a sensitive, potentially volatile topic. What BMW always meant to 'me' is a car that finds that magic balance between being too sporty (read harsh), and too soft. The M3 as it currently is (E36), IMO, has found that balance. I would like a classy, luxury version of that car in the E46 M3, with 4 doors and a 6-speed manual.

The 330 as described may be what I am looking for, but I think that there are times that the current 328 could use more power. I am currently watching closely as the news unfolds about the upcoming M3 and the 330 to see which one makes more sense for my needs/desires. I just want drivability, practicality, handling, and plenty of power! Too much to ask for?
