According to the 1/31/2000 issue of Autoweek, BMW will unveil a new all-wheel-drive version of the 3-series at the Geneva show in March. The intent of this offering is to steal sales from the A4 quattro. The model will be introduced with a 136-hp 3L turbodiesel with the new 228-hp 3L gas six to follow later in the year.
