: Bruce: As much as I appreciate all the info about hps, torque, etc that everyone talks about, my questions pertain to creature comforts. Will the m3 steering wheel be multi functional like the m5? What will the functions be? Any other info about luxury options is again appreciated...
it seems all BMWs are going to this, I don't see why the M3 would be an exception. Maybe they will offer it with and without it, I am not sure. Most of my questions have been about the performance of the car, not the amenities it might have, so I can't give you a firm answer on luxury items.
: My criteria for the car includes everything that has been talked about concerning performance. Yet with a wife and 12 year old, I need a reasonable back seat that even an adult could feel comfortable in. So this rules out any 2seaters.
how long do the adults have to sit back there? how big are they? I wouldn't be comfortable in the back of any 3, and even the 5 wouldn't be comfortable for long
: After test driving a 99m3 with dinan (sp) chip and suspension, for weeks I couldn't get that sh-t eating grin off my face. So now i'm #8 on my local dealers list.
Well, if that made you happy the E46 M3 will probably give you a heart attack.
