I'm # 4 on my dealers list, but I won't pay more than that when my E36 (95) had a base price of less than 36K, especially since there has been relative restraint on the part of most car manufacturers to keep prices reasonable due to the presence lots of competition. The S4 certainly represents that, and a viable alternative to the M3 if pricing isn't reasonable.
