It seems that BMW may have difficulty
matching the 0-60 of the older (American)
car because the new one is heavier (A = F/M).
While the new engine will put out more hp,
we all know torque and weight are more of
an issue right now for the 0-60. How much
more torque can they squeeze out of an I6
in the low rpm range? Probably some, but I'd
guess they'd be loathe to add more weight to
the car. Maybe they'll add it as an option later.
