3.25 or 3.4, whats the big deal? (archive)

Who cares if the new M3's engine is 3.25 or 3.4? Most of you seem to live in the USA and if I where in your shoes I would be more worried if BMW is going to give you the same engine the Euro market gets or give you a high torque engine with less horsepower. Perhaps high torque with relatively less power is what Americans want or is it what BMW thinks they want? I am sure BMW attempts to give each market what it thinks is most suitable for them.
