: Alright got some price information for bay area buyers looking to buy from either Stevens Creek or Allison. Basically, the base MSRP is $45K, fully loaded for $50K or so. There will not be custom made cars for the first year, so you have to buy fully loaded. HOWEVER, that's not the kicker. Because of all the ridiculous wealth in the bay area, the 15 M3s they're getting will be sold auction style. Yup, so unless you can pony up more cash than the CEOs and VPs around here, forget about it for the first year. They sold M5s at $50,000 over MSRP, so I wouldn't be surprised that the M3s go for $20,000 to $30,000 over. So if you want a M3 for MSRP, ship one in from Ohio or Kansas or someplace. I'll just wait until 2001.
Bidding should get hot when the close date arrives.
I wonder how much over MSRP people are willing to pay.
