Well, owning both an M3 and an Eclipse, the Eclipse has a raw edge that the M3 lacks. There is more detail about the road transmitted to the driver in the Eclipse than in the M3.

For $25,000 an Eclipse is a *very* competent car, and a lot of fun to drive -- I can't bear to part with mine!
