What can u do? When u live in a place where everyone and their mothers are multi-millionaires, every business is looking to cash in, the car business included. I'd love to pay MSRP, and I'm definitely not paying over MSRP just so I can be the first on the block with a M3.
: That is so sad. The three BMW dealers here in Houston are not charging a dime over MSRP. I have asked all three of them. Each one of them is only taking $500 for a deposit and selling them for the MSRP price. They said they don't markup, and that is not the image that BMW is trying to portray. One dealer even told me that an individual was willing to shell out 30K extra for the M5. He was not sold the M5. The person that was next on the waiting list was the sold the M5 for MSRP.
