What exactly are you smoking? Both of the C5s I've ridden in had a rattle in the cockpit. The E36 M3 is another story (still good, but not great), but the E46 buld quaility is awesome! My roommate owns a E46 328Ci and drives it all over the place in the Bay Area & its really shitty roads, and has yet to encounter even the smallest rattle.

As for my personal opinion, I'd take the M3 any day over the C5. Don't get me wrong, the 'Vette's a great car, its just not my style. Besides, my girlfreind would never put up with a car whose front seats don't recline (use your imagination) ;)

: The interior and exterior fit and finish of the C5 is better than the M3's. Plus it looks pissa!
