"BMWs all new Porsche beating M3 is to be even more fearsome than first thought.Two versions of the eagerly awaited super coupe are set to find their way into showrooms-to satisfy both existing M3 owners and a new breed of hard core enthusiasts.
The surprising news comes in response to criticisms from media and owners who condemned the outgoing model for not being as finely honed as it could of been.
An insider from BMWs German HQ told AutoExpress "there is great enthusiasm from customers and distributers to see an even more focused version of the new M3"
It is almost certain that the car would be a lightweight, stripped out M3 aimed purely at delivering maximum driving enjoyment. It would boast a much faster acting steering rack,a sportier exhaust, less sound proofing,plus new bucket style race seats.These measures would move the model much closer to its roots-the fantastic Mk1 M3s which were built to take BMW to victory on the international racing car scene."
