Saw an e46 M3 in Irvine, CA (archive)

Saw a white e46 M3 on the road in Irvine, CA yesterday morning on the I-5 South around 4:30 am. It was taped black around the edges and the badge was a square black. It was unmistakably the new m3 because it had the four exhuast in the middle of the lower back. Let me tell you guys the car looks awesome!

The wheels and the stance is much more aggressive than the new coupe. I gave the guy inside the thumbs up but he seemed hesitant and sped away. The car was loaded with testing instruments and a video camera. The car also had the new xenon lights. Too bad I wasn't in my '00 M5, I was in my Tundra going on a snowboard trip. I wanted to race the guy.
