It was unmistakably the new m3 because it had the four exhuast in the middle of the lower back. Let me tell you guys the car looks awesome!
: : : The wheels and the stance is much more aggressive than the new coupe. I gave the guy inside the thumbs up but he seemed hesitant and sped away. The car was loaded with testing instruments and a video camera. The car also had the new xenon lights. Too bad I wasn't in my '00 M5, I was in my Tundra going on a snowboard trip. I wanted to race the guy.

I tried to check out the reference but I cld'nt track it down at the time, couldnt figure out that board. I think it said on the board it was not affiliated or sponsered by Honda. I did not save the refrence. You can probably track it down on the e46 archives using keywords e46M3 and Irvine and look for Gene.
