If things go anything like they did with the E36 M3, I don't think '01 or '02 will be a problem. I ordered my 95M3/2 from the factory in Feb. 95 for $2k under MSRP. The only option I didn't get was the deck spoiler and I only had to wait 9-10 weeks before I took delivery.
