foglights? (archive)

Why does the switch for the foglights look different in the m3 than in the ci? It looks like there are three buttons where the single large foglight switch usually is. Any idea?

I was specifically looking at the pic of the cockpit in the downloads section of the preview page http://www.bmw.com/bmwe/products/m3/
