I've never hit anything when I was backing up before and my 2+ year old wheels don't have any "curb-rash" on them, (would the PDS help with curb-rash anyway). Besides, I don't like the way the four sensors look in the rear bumper. Makes it look like the rear bumper was tacked on aftermarket. Hope they make PDS optional so you don't have to pay for it if you don't want it, and you can get a plain rear bumper if you want. Just my $0.02.
