Why purchase your spot on the list? Its likely that those on the list will NOT have choice of options or color, so why not just wait for those scalpers that are on the list purely for profit to sell their cars. You'll still pay ALOT more than MSRP, but who cares - right? That would be the money that you would have paid to buy their spot on the list. And, you'll be able to choose your color and options from what they offer because its not what they wanted in the first place.
