Bruce - In your opinion, is BMW limiting the number of M3s on purpose? Why are so few available when the demand is there to sell more?
Is it poor planning by BMW? Is BMW's production operated so poorly that they lose sells? Do they not care or could it be a "planned" this way?
How important to BMW is the profit from the sales of these cars (M3 and M5 in particular)? Same question except for the Z8? Are they making a profit, breaking even or a loss?
Could BMW produce more M3s or have planned better so more M3s would be available at introduction time?
I know it's a lot of questions and I don't really expect answers to all of them but it is something to think about!

: : They have delivered 3 M5s so far and expect about 10 this model year. What you think?
: 3 so far and expect 10? hmm. well they should know how many more M5s are allocated this year.
: with those numbers I would guess you would have one by this time next year.
