Are you a student at UBC? If so, I'm impressed that you can afford a C4 already. I also live in Vancouver, and my father owns the first C4 that was brought here. The car is amazing, but I'd take my 99 M3 over it anyday. The everyday performance of the car isn't far enough above the M3 to compensate for all of its downfalls. It's interior, stereo, and comfort comes no where near my M. It's fun to take out every now and then and get all the looks and waves, but I couldn't live with it. So, in the end, I'm sticking with my M.

P.S. Oh ya, why don't you keep an eye out for a black/black C4 with the GT3 wing cruising around town because, probably unlike yours, it's real.
