: The new M3 will be faster, more practical, probably more comfortable, cheaper to repair...etc...A 996 NEVER made sense to me...I never even considered it. I'd rather put the difference towards my race car...or the Toyota Tundra I'm about to pick up...For about the price of a new 996 Turbo I'll have the M3, my new race car finished, and a new Toyota Tundra....at this time last year I had 6 race cars, 4 street cars, and two trucks....All for about the price of two 993 Turbos....and I guarantee you that I got much more enjoyment out of them...
