E46 M3 Spotted... (archive)

in Beverly Hills, driving on Melrose Ave. It was all white with the BMW badge taped over and the side vents were also covered with black tape. No M3 badge either. It had a California dealer plate. I pulled up next to the driver in my 99 328i and gave him a thumbs up. Has anybody seen one of these babies elsewhere on the road?
