E46 M3 spotted at a local car wash! (archive)

Went to get my car washed at a local "upscale" carwash and was told by the manager that they had a E46 M3 come through the car wash driven by a local BMW headquaters rep earlier in the day. The car was in silver. The manager of the car wash was given an opportunity to drive the car around the parking lot. His comments were: "The car is gorgeous, paint quality is unlike anything he has ever seen before. He also commented the car rides very stiff, the car had 18" rims with Michelins new "Sport" tires. He also said in the limited space of the parking lot he was able to accelerate at a phenomenal rate of speed. The car is very fast!!! The rep was tight-lipped about availability dates and mentioned the car was being shipped out that day somewhere else.
