e46 m3 vs M coupe (archive)

BMW says the new M3 will be 0-60 in 5.2 which is about the same as the M Coupe. I'd imagine with 330+ HP the American M3 model will rip the M Coupe compared to 240 HP for the M Coupe. Also, even though the new m3 has like 330ish hp, its torque isn't that much more than the old m3 or the m coupe. Any ideas, opinions, comments?
