What about variety?

It looks like you've already had your Bimmer dose. I'm not real brand loyal myself.

Life is too short to attach to one brand of car.

Someone suggested a Lotus...but I wouldn't recomend it. I had a 1990 Turbo SE, and the pitiful reliability made me hate it. Owned it for one year. I had it towed 7 times. 3 times out of my driveway. I only put 5000 miles on it....The definition of LEMON. It was a new car. The stupidest things broke...things that NEVER should break....If the quality is improved let me know, but I'm going to take a LOT of convincing. The other problem is that there is no support for Lotus in this country.

On the Viper...the "kit car" comments are a bit trite...interior quality has much improved through its 9 year tenure. I'll admit that I'm leaning towards the Viper b/c I've always had more fun in exotics. They are impractical...more "toys"...then anything...but that's the beauty. There are more Viper shops around then I can count, so support is always available.

I have long thought about an NSX, but the power just isn't there. I want my sunday cruiser to be the best bang for the buck for fun and flash.

and who needs more than 340hp? It's all relative. I had a 550hp monster for a while, and nobody needs that power.....but it sure is fun....
