Well I look at it this way.

MSRP: $44,970
0-60: ~4.8 seconds
1/4 : ~13.2 seconds

That's a fast car no matter how heavy it is. That's also quite a deal for a car that fast, especially since it's got the handling capabilities to hold that kind of power (being an ///M).

My suggestion would be NOT to jump the boat until you see one, sit in it, and drive it. Don't give in to all of these numbers. They are good ways of telling you how fast a car is, but there's no comparison to first hand experience. If you're really thinking of jumping, just wait until the car comes in. It's not like if you wait you'll be out any money (assuming your deposit is refundable). Maybe you can wait a little bit, and actually get to test drive a demo, then make your decision. At worst, you won't like it. Take your deposit, and leave. Pretty simple. If you like it, you won't have to regret giving up your spot for it, you'll be able to just take one out since you are first.
