with basic suspension, basic all season tires, and automatic transmissions, and even that handles superbly, does whatever I asked it to do with ease. Of course I've never been in an m3, but m3 drivers who have, seem impressed with the e46 handling while noting it is underpowered (as you would expect them to say). Not to worry.
