The tech field is definitely the way to go. I own an Economics/CS degree and work for a major tech firm. Stick to business but get an in depth understanding of the technology field. In other words, you might want to take a few CS classes and keep up w/ the tech industry in general. I started off as a Finance major and interned at Deam Witter. I realized that much of "stockbrokering" is sales and that is why I got into the tech side of things.... Please no flames, this is all IMHO.

I am about to go to college and would like any advice on a good career that would pay for cars like the E46 M3 once I graduate. : I think you are headed in the right direction, I have an MBA in Finance and work for Ford in Detroit(Proud owner of a 2000 M-Roadster). My passion for cars combined with strong technical skills has doubled my starting salary in less than four years. However, I do want to say that if you do what you love, the money will follow! I am very blessed to have a passion for my career! E-commerce Marketing is the wave of the future. I am beginning a Post-Graduate Executive training program in fall, and have been told to expect a high six figure salary upon completion. Think E-Commerce and remain flexible!! Good Luck!
