My information comes from the European magazine CAR, which I think is British. The 406 3.0 Coupe is the best performer at 24,520 pounds it does 0-60 in 7.4 sec. That is exactly $38,930.40 U.S. Vehicles are more expensive in Britan, so to give you an idea of how that price compares to a car sold here I'll tell you about the Integra Type R. In this magazine it sells for 20495 pounds and does 0-60 in 6.7 sec. Thats exactly $32,539.91, about $8,000 more than the base price in the U.S.

So in conclusion I think this is a case of people having the Idea that the grass is always greener on the other side, the Type R is cheaper and outperforms the 406, but because you can't get the 406 here it must be better.

Sorry this really didn't have anything to do with BMW's.
