why EIGHT front pads? Are you running 4 calipers up front?
: I just took the Porterfield RACE pads off my car...I did use them before, during, and after a two day track event. I ended up boiling my brake fluid during one session (not determined until after the session)...but had no brake fade. On the way home, no joke, the rotors became warped. I cannot explain why. I now have stock pads back on my car for several reasons...one of the more important being that they are very very quiet compared to the Porterfields. For my car the Porterfields are a special application...so they were expensive as hell ($400+ for the front eight (8) brake pads).

: P.S. Installing heat treated slotted rotors in the next day or so...they just got delivered today via UPS. :-)
