Forget to mention this in my NYC show report. as many of you know I was allowed up on the platform to sit in the car and inspect it closely. The mini rear wing is sheetmetal. I was pleasantly surprised. I assumed it would be made out of the material of the bumpers and filled with some synthetic, as some other manufacturers do. It also seems nicely welded to the trunk, although it may be one piece, a preformed part of the trunk's sheetmetal. On other cars water tends to collect there and cause problems. I doubt it will be a problem with m3. Also, cosmetically I think it achieves its purpose, that is balance out the raised hood on the car's front end.
