: Does anyone have experience with a clear proctective coating used in place of a nose bra? I am interested in the cost and if it is invisible.

I have it on my 2000 328i and it is vertually invisible. You can see the hood line from an angle, but that's about it. Putting it on is a bear. It took my wife and I 5 hours to cover the hood, mirror, and front end. The cost is around $250 for the whole kit which comes precut. If a professional puts it on, it will be really costly. Protection is great however and you can wax over it. Just be careful of wax buildup on the seams. It does also have a very pale yellowish tint to it, so it might be more noticable on a white car. Mine is on the steel blue color. I also have their foglight protectors and headlight protectors, which are really invisible...and much thicker.
