The Cobra R is a car for competition. It is by no means a daily driver, unless you consider no radio, no A/C, lower bodywork that would be dead meat the first time you drove over a speed bump, and no back seat a "daily driver."

With 385hp and 385lb.ft. of torque, and similar curb weight, the Cobra R would most likely whoop a stock E46 M3 on a road course.

And seeing as how every single Cobra R is spoken for already (all 300 model year 2000 cars are gone, and there are no plans for a 2001 run), you wouldn't have had to comparison-shop between the R and the M3, anyway.

Let's stick to comparing apples to apples.
