The engine(5.4) in this car WILL make ~450+(crank)hp with very very slight mods. I have seen the dyno charts for The R while working at Ford, they de-tuned it so people dont kill each other and so it will last over 150k miles. Skid pad numbers around 1.02+, Sure im still going to get the M3 but this car is no slouch. It will smoke an M3 on the track, BAD! recaros, bilsteins(spelling???), brembos, Borla, eibachs, lots of after-market stuff on it. Its nice and smokin fast but not in my garage.
Its nice to see Ford have a car faster than anything GM has(vette) for once. (well until the LS6 vette comes out...)
