I have had my typhoon for about 8 months now. I got it to haul my kids around (quickly). I haven't had the luck of racing anyone from a light, but it is damn quick. Unlike hitting the launch just right in a M3/Z28/Camaro/S2000, etc.. this thing is simple. BRAKE, GAS to build boost (the brakes will not hold the truck if you build too much boost though), let off brake and go like stink.

Mine is all stock, but fast enough, and semi-unique. I see more M3's than Typhoons. Of course Ty's were only made 92-93. Anyone else have one here?

: I was really surprised that ppl on this board also own Typhoons. My fantasy cars would have to be a 993 Turbo, a Land Rover D90 for the rainy days, and '87 Buick Grand National that would be modded to run high 8 sec 1/4 miles street legal, for those ultimate cruise nights (there is a 7 sec twin turbo Cutlass that hits a trap speed of 181 in the 1/4 in Greensboro, NC).

: Typhoons are great street racers too, one of the quikest vehicles 0-30 ever made, plus they are very responsive to mods, like most turbo vehicles. I'd be interested if any here has mods on thier Typhoons.
