: the euro car had a 2.0l I6
: this car hasnt had a 4 banger in it and lexus doesnt have 4 bangers!!
: just wait for the type R version lexus is creating
: they will soon have a model line just like BMW has the "M" models can wait for the is300 vs M3 vs C320 AMG

:
: : slightly off topic but things are slow and the IS300 will probably cause a stir. The cover story on Automobile Magazine. They had the nerve to show the lexus in a phoenix like yellow!

: : I think it is going to go heads up with the 330i, but who knows, a lexus m3 may be in the works.

: : In addition to a few lexus flames, I hope this post generates some good comments.

the M3. With the weight distribution the is300 has, I don't think it will ever be comparable to the M3. The best comparison will remain between the is300 and the 328/330. If Toyota had originally intended to put the 3liter six in the is, then I suspect the car would be more comparable to the M3 as I would expect there to have been fewer compromises in its design. If the is300 sells well, then when the redesign comes I think they could make a series run at the E46M3.
