: Wonder how long before we will see a brochure in the US....
:
: : Hello Gents & ladies,
: : I've just picked up an official brochure from my BMW dealer in Amsterdam. Netherlands
: : The specs are:
: : 6 speed gear box
: : 225/45 ZR 18 front wheels
: : 225/40 ZR 18 Rear wheels
: : inline 6 engine
: : 3245 cm3 capacity
: : 252 KW @ 7900 rpm
: : 365 Nm " 4900
: : top speed 250km p/h (limited)
: : 0-100 km/h <5.3 seconds
: : the brochure shows a type of mustard yello M3...
: : This will be the EURO set up, it's offical, as they are giving brochures out, willing to take orders, but NO specific date of release, rumours are October.
: : The 330i engine is being released 1st June in Holland
: : The X5 3.0i released 27/5 in Germany
: : A new 330d will come in october, very good specis (I know you guys are not too keen on Turbo diesels in the states)
: : but the new engine (currently in the 730d) will have 193bhp and 410Nm at 1750 to 3500 rpm
: : one hell of a pull from 60-120 km p/h
: : ok anymore info from my dealer I'll post it

yes I'll try to translate it from Dutch, my Dutch is not perfect...
just kind of splurts about the significance of the "M"
the states 365Nm @ 4900 rpm, Power 252 kW
states that it has a special "double M vanos"
Pictures show it with the OLD NAV system
6 speed box
grey/black two tone interior, electric sport seats with memory
PDC
The special M wheels we've seen from Frankfurt Motor Show...
front wheels 8J x 18 with 225/45 tires
back wheels 9J x 18 with 255/40 tires.
something about electronically managed brake system being cooled by a system at the bottom of the car that sucks wind in, this also helps to keep the engine cool.
It has a new "M" differential, which makes sure the back wheels are continually revolving for optimal traction.
That's as far as my Ducth goes.. sorry
any more info from Europe I'll post, working on my new scanner to get the pictures up for you guys
