: slightly off topic but things are slow and the IS300 will probably cause a stir. The cover story on Automobile Magazine. They had the nerve to show the lexus in a phoenix like yellow!

It will not be the equal of the 330i from what I can tell--most comparisons are still with the 328i. However, it is a bit less and some people prefer Lexus. I just think the interior is an Audi rip-off and kind of quirky but could get old.

Funny that they had to beg to get the manual as an option for the U.S. in the second year. It is amazing that the higher ups in Japan had targeted the 3 series and did not intend to offer a manual. They are lucky their U.S. reps are more far-sighted.
