This is not flame bait. I am making the following choice in the near future (6 months.)
I am almost 80% for the Dodge (will be about $55 to $60k) so about $5 to $10K more, over the E46 M3 (I am top of list for one of Houston's dealerships.)

Either will be purely a weekend car. I will never need cargo space and will never have more than 1 other person in the car; also, I actually like the look of no backseats better in a sports car. Also, I will start taking racing lessons at a public track.

The Dodge will have 3,000 to 10,000 miles (likely around 5,000.) So even though the Dodge will be used, my choice is basically like comparing two NEW cars.

It seems on accelerating, top speed, handling, braking (I will probably upgrade to Brembo brakes on the Dodge – living in Houston, upgrades are easy with Hennesey (spelling??) in town) and looks the Dodge leads. Also, I love the exotic look and how rare they are (I see maybe 1 a month at most on public roads.) Also, if I get bored after a year or two, for $25K I can get horsepower to 650+ and torque to 700 lbs/foot.

Excluding cargo space and room for more than two (actually maybe “more than 1” - that Dodge is the smallest car I have ever seen in interior room) what should I consider in the comparison????????????

Again, this is not flame bait. It is between these two cars for my next toy.
