they showed it at this years NYC show, so I believe that their will be a 2001 in the current body style and the 2002 will appear in 1 year (maybe as a 2003) as a redesigned car. I just think Dodge is trying to send rumors around so they can get everything straight with the new car and not scare people off from buying the current model by telling them the new car will be here "real soon." Its a typical sales "thing", this is just my opinion.. but I don't think they would have showed this road going new viper at the shows if it was 2 years off and testing it in car magazines...but hey, I could definitely be wrong.
