Thats a sure way to be able to jack the price up to what the market would command
I think its a crime
BMW has lost its focus on why and how it got back into the American market over the last 6 years...I am sitting here watching history repaet itself

Dan in Houston

: However I was told by my sales rep that they are no longer accepting deposits for waiting list. From now on, first come, first serve.

: : : : : After several posts regarding dealers charging +?K over MSRP, I'm a little worried my dealership will try to pull some shit like that with me. They have said on more than one occassion that they ONLY charge MSRP. Should I worry about this? I've given them a grand to be #3 on the waiting list yet I didn't get anything in writing regarding price. When I inquire about getting something in writing they simply say "you don't need that, we wouldn't do that to you". Am I being a sucker? Any comments? Hello?

: : : : I would get it in writing. It looks likes you are in Houston and I don't really trust any dealership there (especially not Momentum)- the only I would even remotely trust would be Intercontinental (bought my M roadster from them). It doesn't hurt to have it in writing (especially since you already gave then $1k), but not having it in writing CAN hurt you.
