Hey everyone. Just noticed today on one of the pics I downloaded from bmw.com, that to the right of the license plate there is a key hole for the trunk. I distinctly remember at the NY Auto show, on the 2000 323Ci, the trunk was opened via an electrical mechanism under the lip that overhangs the license plate. If the doors were unlocked, you simply depressed a button on the underside of the lip and the trunk opened. No ugly key hole. Does anyone know anything about this in regard to the E46 M3? Thanks in advance.
