See the archives on other articles about this. Allison is okay, but you'll pay more. The people I talked to there seemed to be fairly clueless about cars in general. Could just as well be selling life insurance or swimming pools.

Stevens Ck BMW has a number of arrogant people in Sales, not good. Heard negative experiences from a few people about that place.

East Bay BMW in Pleasanton has been treating me nicely so far, and I've heard a number of very good experiences with them. You'll get MSRP. Deposits are $1000. See their web site for info on how to get there. It's not that far from Silicon Valley really. Make a deposit now for a March delivery, or somewhat thereafter. Talk to Kerri Applebaum there, she's definitely worth seeing. ;-)

I think there also is a BMW dealer at the Freemont Auto Mall. No idea, but could be worth a call.

I have deposits down with three dealers and none called me so far regarding new info on the car. They don't seem to be reading the bimmer.org forums, it seems.
