I dont agree at all...These cars are meant to be 'driven'. Full HP only become available over 6500 rpms. The red line is there to protect the engine...It means, 'dont rev over this limit'...It doesnt mean, 'dont rev over 2K below this limt'! I've heard from several engine builders who say this is one very strong engine. I see no reason not to take full advantage of the power band. I think there are many cases when tooling around between 2K and 4K rpms does alot more harm to the engine than airing it out...I'm not saying to continually drive at the redline, however, theres nothing wrong with venturing to redline when shifting.
