Its my opionin that M motors can be red-lined daily, and SHOULD be.

However, powershifting is very tough on the driveline.

I don't do it in daily-driving for 2 reasons : it wears the clutch, mounts and bearing too fast and more importantly, real powershifting (your throttle is in full the entire time) yeilds too small of an acceleration benefit compared to the cost of replacing prematurely worn parts.

I did it in a drag race once, though. It was fun ;)
