I think that the trim picture (I remember it, too) was from the Frankfurt show, but was not from an M3, it was just an aftermarket trim kit on some E46 on the floor. I make this assumption as there were no interior shots from that show, the windows were blacked out, and all the shots that were posted were of the outside only.

If it is done well, I, too, would like CF. But I have this bad feeling that CF and suede/cloth/alcantara seating are two desireable options that we will not be able to get here.
