: Hi folks,

: I've got a 330i (wk 23) on order and having second thoughts on weither or not I should wait and get the new M3.

: I would like to know the general concensus on availability... I have a inkling how bad it may be, I just want to experts opinions, which I assume would be all the frequenters of this board. ;)

: Is it possible to have one this year? I'm in CA and wondering what dealerships maybe be able to guarantee one for this year's delivery, I don't mind a small markup on MSRP, just not M5 outrageous. Leads are appreciated and I am willing to put a large % down and sign any purchase contract.

: Also, does a euro delivery(order) help in any way in getting one this year?

: TIA

I haven't been able to find any dealers in CA in the last week with a waiting list shorter than 10. The dealers who are willing to commit to MSRP typically have longer waiting lists. If you're willing to pay a lot over MSRP I'm sure some dealers will be happy to sell you an M3 this year, however.

Euro delivery won't be available immediately and nobody seems to know when BMW will make it available - maybe for MY 2002.Fred Opert Racing was saying April 2001, but they weren't sure the last time I called.
