A)There ARE some 2000 M3s in Europe as we speak.
B) You CAN (ok, *I* can ;) get one with a V8 in Germany. (with NO limiter too)
C)I certainly dont "have money to burn". (I have an established sign business in northern NJ). The car was ordered back in Feb 00 by a close friend (with good connections)in germany- was originally supposed to be in Nov. 00, low and behold its ready now :)
D)We will see just WHO looks stupid in public very soon...lol- (intended for "defiant" and whoever else flames this)

Im not gonna continue with this thread after this post Ive decided, as I now know how unbelievable it must be apparently...I first mentioned it back in Feb here, and of course noone believed it then either (I do remember Rick Keys flaming me- id have to check the archives)-when the car is delivered to me by early august (at the latest), I will of course post pics for everyone and answer questions as well.

In addition to the LIGHTER 400HP M5 motor, the car also has some custom touches done by the factory at my request- ALL the chrome was painted black, including the kidney grill,side louvers, int door locks, even the chrome ring around the BMW logos was painted for me. The only chrome showing is the M3 logo in the rear,(I hoped to have a "V8" emblem for the left rear side, but they said no) as well as the exhaust pipes. The M3 logos in the side grills were deleted. The M3 stock wheels were also deleted at my request, and polished BMW 5 star type wheels are included instead (I dont particularly care for the new M3 wheels myself). The car is all black inside as well, including the trim (thought about brushed aluminum however). The windows are all tinted very dark from the factory also. No wing.

I have always been a diehard Vette man myself (sold my 95 coupe last dec :(, but after reading about this car i wanted one REALLY bad. These new M3's are certainly gonna be the hottest thing around (but i have seen the new Viper pics! what a machine THAT will be). Ive had 2 320i's back in the 80's, but I dont think the M3 is gonna compare to them for some reason...lol...I picture the new M3 hysteria to be very similar to the C5 craze back in 1997-

Youve guys have been seeing these M3 pics for how long now? Do you REALLY believe that they havent produced ANY yet over there??
