When the car arrives here, I will take a pic with the days newspaper on the hood or something- probably the NY daily news, or
another well known paper which the cover can easily be verified that it is indeed the very same days paper from NY...I couldnt possible have a NY newspaper shipped to Germany the very same day, right? so that should verify that the car is indeed in NY...

Then I will announce here where and when that i will be driving the car so that some local people from this board can check it out- most likely it will be the rest stop on the NYS thruway (Rt 287/87 southbound), just after the Harriman exit (new Mc Donalds, Sunoco) and just B4 the Rt 17 exit on my way to NJ some morning...is anyone near there?

Unfortunately I wont be giving much notice as to when I will be meeting there, as I can not risk having an enormous crowd possibly endangering the wealfare of the car- Probably on a friday nite i will post the message that i will be there on the next Sat morning. All i ask of everyone is to please be patient with me until I get it (a month or so), then we will all be enlightened by this awesome piece of German engineering- this I PROMISE :)

: Like I said earlier, unless you're a multimillion dollar per year BMW buyer, or are a member of the Quandt family, there's no way the factory will build you a completely custom car.
