as most of you know, the m3 will not have a spare tire, full size or mini-me. I understand that the m5 mobility system is generally effective from m5 board posts.

I prefer to pull the tire off myself and leave it at the repair place, rather than waiting, often up to 3 hours, or leaving the car with them for the day. Of course that requires a fifth tire.

Do you anticipate either bmw or a generic wheel store will have available a miniature spare I could throw in the trunk for such occasions?

BTW, I just dealt with a roofing nail in the outermost part of the tread on the turning radius. The guy said he couldn't patch it which meant a new tire. My understanding is that the bmw mobility system couldn't handle such a puncture.

In any event, it was nice having a full size spare in my 328i which I know will be impossible given the front back variation in the m3, but I was wondering if a miniature spare would be appropriate on the new m3 for a few hours at low speed & # of miles.
