My roommate has a 2000 328Ci and has had no problems with his A/C. I just purchased a 2000 M Coupe and am having no problems whatsoever with the A/C in my car. It blasts cold air at me even while idling. Admittedly, I live in San Francisco where the A/C doesn't have to work nearly as hard to keep me cool. What did your dealership say?

: I am the somewhat unhappy owner of a 2000 M-Coupe. Car is awesome, a/c is absolutely awful in 90 plus Texas heat. Only blows cold at freeway speeds, in traffic it blows warm. It been checked by 2 dealers, and one independent.

: Are all current BMW a/c systems this bad, or are E46 owners basically happy with their systems.
